Our Story.
 our Mission.
Where we started, where have we been, where are we now, and where are we heading? It was just 20 years ago that Tom and Janelle were both pursuing their passion for fitness at a health club in Bloomington, IL. Tom was a gym supervisor and Janelle was an aerobics instructor. We both moved on to 1 on 1 personal training. The more clients we gained, the more our passion to help others achieve optimum wellness grew! 

We took time to get married, raise our amazing boys, and we knew that our future was always going to be helping all of us and YOU achieve a lifetime of optimal wellness! We aspire to be an example to our boys that you can do what you LOVE while helping others and keeping your wellness a number one priority as well!

 Before we knew it, we built a gym in our basement. It wasn’t long after that, we opened our 1st gym, Fit Bodies CrossFit *shoutout of gratitude to the generous PT client/friend who offered to finance the beginning of where we are today* #neverforgetwhereyoucomefrom

Our FBCF gym and membership continued to grow from 2010 through 2015. This is when our love for Maui allowed us to surrender our Fit Bodies CF family and acquire the LCF Ohana. For almost a decade, we grew LCF from 800sq ft to over 4000sq ft. We had over 100 local members and the privilege of serving almost 10,000 visitors during that time! 

Then, the Maui wildfires changed the course for everyone in Lahaina. After about 1 year of survival mode and taking time to figure out what is best for our family and our near future….here we are!

We have been volunteering our time and services to provide LCF @ the Beach functional fitness classes to our community and our new and returning visitors! It is a refreshing change of pace for all of us! It is also a great way to keep up the community vibe of group fitness!

We have heard you want more and we are now ready to offer you more! 

We will continue to host our LCF BeachFit classes. Our newest endeavor BUILT DIFFERENT TRAINING that provides online programming, 1:1 coaching and in-person personal training is now LIVE!
